Joining the world’s largest hotel chain

Best Western is the world’s largest hotel chain with more than 200 hotels across Australia, 7 hotels in New Zealand and over 4000 hotels in 80 countries. Ranging from three to five stars, each motel, hotel, apartment and resort is independently owned and managed.

This is what Sharon Gleeson from the Best Western Crystal Inn, Bendigo, Victoria has to say about her investment with Best Western :

"We were bleeding $4,000 a month in marketing costs with little results prior to joining Best Western.

“All the money we spent on advertising didn’t make a scrap of difference. We couldn’t get anyone in the door,” Gleeson said.

After interest from other franchisers , Sharon chose Best Western.

“The second we put the sign up we saw an enormous turn around.

“People forget how powerful branding is. When the public see that sign they know straight away that there’s a certain standard involved.”

To maintain this standard, Best Western has a strict quality assurance program with over 200 checks and minimum requirements members must satisfy.

“Quality is one thing we maintain very tight control over,” said Best Western National Brand Development Manager ,Roy McCullagh.
