RMS is a specialist software development company, formed in 1984 by a team of specialists who designed, developed and implemented the data capture and funds transfer systems for the Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland stock exchanges. Peter Buttigieg, our company Managing Director, was the team leader in this project.
In 1985, RMS began the development of a reservation and accounting management software solution, which now has over 2,000 clients throughout Australia, the UK, India, the UAE and the Pacific.

In 1995, RMS started the Windows development that would be so crucial to our clients as the new millennium approached. This development is now a full 32 bit system, utilising the latest in Windows XP and Vista technology. RMS was the first major PMS provider to offer a Windows based PMS. In 2002 RMS released its SQL version. This was the first SQL PMS on the market at that time and proves RMS’s commitment to using the latest technologies. RMS is now a leading supplier of property management systems to Hotels, Motels, Apartment buildings (both strata titled and conventional), Holiday Resorts and Parks, Universities and Colleges, the mining industry and Australian Defence Force Bases. Dealing with an Australian Company, providing a product that is continually enhanced and developed, has provided our many and varied clientele with a business partner that is on hand to recognise and act on their needs.
