With over 20 years’ experience in the accommodation sector, Annalise brings a combination of operational knowledge, sales experience and strong regional connections to her role representing ResortBrokers in Northern Victoria.
Annalise covers the Alpine and North East, the Murray River Region, the Goulburn Valley and Mallee, and the North West, including major towns such as Bright, Echuca, Shepparton, Wangaratta, Wodonga / West Wodonga, Cobram, Rutherglen, Beechworth, Benalla, Falls Creek, Tawonga South and her homebase of Yarrawonga, where she lives with her husband and their daughter.
“I’ve spent all my life in Yarrawonga, except for a few years when I went to boarding school in Melbourne,” says Annalise. “I returned here by choice. We love the lifestyle of the Murray Region, the pace of it.”
Annalise’s first foray into accommodation came at the age of 19 when she and her husband operated two large businesses in her hometown: Yarrawonga Holiday Park and Yarrawonga Mulwala Accommodation Service. After a career pivot, she returned as a member of the board managing the park.
“I was fortunate to spearhead the park’s redevelopment,” she says. “I analysed the park’s turnover and profitability by identifying the gaps — which cabins and sites were performing well, which weren’t and where the opportunities lay — and then focused on filling those gaps. We ultimately invested $10-12 million to develop 30 self-contained waterfront apartments, along with a major new pool and playground. The addition of the apartments broadened the park’s accommodation offerings and price points to appeal to different segments of the guest market, paving the way for the business to more than triple its income.”
After a combined six years at the park, Annalise then moved into a national role with Australian-based global provider RMS Cloud. There, she worked with operators across Australia and New Zealand to implement systems, optimise performance and support business growth. To formalise her financial knowledge learned on the job, Annalise undertook a Bachelor of Business at Swinburne University, which she is close to completing.
Annalise recently celebrated six years as co-director of Federation Luxury Transportable Homes, an accommodation-focused business she co-founded with a local building company. Together, they built and scaled Federation into an interstate concern delivering over 150 luxury cabins to caravan parks and tourism operators across Victoria and New South Wales. While Annalise has since stepped away from the business, she remains incredibly proud of what the team achieved and continues to enjoy watching Federation evolve and make a lasting impact on the modular building industry.
“Having owned and operated accommodation businesses, I understand what drives performance, how to identify value and how to position assets effectively to buyers,” says Annalise.
“I’m really happy to be able to use my understanding of the local market and the great relationships I’ve built for the benefit of my clients across Northern Victoria.”
