"Delivering sales results comes down to mastering detail, hard work, great communication, teamwork and a competitive spirit — skills I’ve learned in business and elite sport, which I use to my clients’ benefit in the management rights space."

Specialising in management rights from Main Beach to Beenleigh, Gold Coast Broker Clint Amos has established himself as an area specialist with in-depth industry knowledge that has seen him bring to market businesses exceeding $3 million.

You may recognise Clint from his NRL career spanning almost a decade playing hooker for the North Queensland Cowboys and Gold Coast Titans.

While Clint’s success in professional rugby league is impressive, his ability to transfer those skills to the world of sales is equally so. “There are so many crossover traits and disciplines between sport and sales,” says Clint, who cites the competitive spirit, teamwork, work ethic, leadership skills and performing under pressure he learned in elite sport for his seamless transition into this latest phase of his career as a management rights broker.

Clint found his passion for people and property in North Queensland while working for Paul Gedoun, one of Queensland’s most dynamic property developers. Under Paul’s mentorship, Clint developed a deep understanding of the real estate market and honed his skills in sales and negotiation. His ability to build relationships, understand client needs and respond urgently set him apart from his peers.

In addition to his real estate expertise, Clint held senior leadership positions in the liquor industry for internationally renowned brand owners Bacardi Martini and Pernod Ricard. His strong leadership and strategic thinking enabled him to effectively manage teams across layers of each business unit with exceptional results.

Clint’s ability to understand his clients’ needs and communicate openly and transparently has seen him rapidly develop his network of buyers and sellers on the Gold Coast.

“Clint knows intuitively the management rights business is a people’s business, whether it’s buying or selling,” says Marissa von Stieglitz, ResortBrokers National Operations Manager. “He brings his business experience from the corporate world to the table, as well as the life skills he learned in elite sport. Having spent time with Clint meeting management rights operators on the Gold Coast, he quickly gets across the detail of their businesses, understands the sales outcomes they’re after and has the right skill set to deliver those outcomes.”
