Glenn Taylor
Central Queensland
Glenn proudly represents ResortBrokers across Central Queensland, covering Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Emerald, Blackwater, Biloela and everywhere in between.
Immediately prior to joining ResortBrokers, Glenn had a long and successful career with beverage giant Coca-Cola, which he joined in 2005. Promoted to district sales manager in 2015, Glenn led and grew a team of business development executives, managed key accounts and negotiated major commercial deals.
“It’s always been a passion of mine to help my customers grow,” he says. “I like to understand their businesses so I can identify the best way to help them achieve the results they want. My approach has always been simple: I can’t grow my business unless I help you grow yours.”
For Glenn, helping clients grow their businesses starts with having the right information to make informed choices.
“At ResortBrokers there’s a real alignment with the way I’d always worked at Coca-Cola, using data to understand what’s happening in the market and help clients make better decisions.
“ResortBrokers’ appraisals are market-appropriate and data-driven. It’s very similar to how we approached business development with our clients at Coca-Cola. It’s not just, ‘I heard from a guy up the road.’ We can actually show you what the data says, where the market is, where the opportunities are and where things are heading. That gives you something solid to base your decisions on.”
Born in Maryborough and now based in Gracemere just outside Rockhampton, Glenn has called Central Queensland home his entire life, despite having professional opportunities to relocate.
“I never saw myself moving to a capital city,” he says. “I like the country vibe. Where we are now, we’ve got a couple of acres, and we like the space. It’s a better fit for me and my family.”
Glenn credits his success in business to building trust, showing integrity and simply being there for his clients.
“I’ve always said that people buy from people. In regional locations, you have to build trust, show your integrity and keep turning up. It’s not a place where you can have fleeting relationships with clients. I’ve been fortunate to re-sign many clients several times over because I’ve maintained trust-based relationships with them over many years.”
