Mark Troy

Mark joined ResortBrokers in 2026 to represent our agency across the Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast.

He sells accommodation assets across the gamut, including motels, hotels, caravan parks and management rights. For management rights, he works alongside our longtime local agent, Chenoa Daniel, servicing a different part of the Sunshine Coast.

An effervescent Kiwi, Mark brings more than 25 years’ experience in sales leadership, account management and business development across the real estate and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMGC) sectors. That includes 10 years running his own residential real estate agency in Nelson, New Zealand.

“I genuinely enjoy working with people,” says Mark. “I bring a solutions-focused approach to helping people get their start or grow their businesses, backed by genuine enthusiasm and an old-school, can-do attitude.”

Mark cites his decade with Summit Real Estate in Nelson as a major career highlight. There, he managed and led an office of 14 sales agents, training, mentoring and motivating staff while remaining actively involved in personal sales and listings.

His other career achievements include being named Griffins Foods Representative of the Year for New Zealand, achieving the highest new-business growth for Asahi in the South Island and winning multiple competitions for display execution and successful new-product launches.

“I love relationship-driven sales,” says Mark. “Sales is fundamentally about people talking, listening and building face-to-face authenticity. For all it can do, that’s something AI can’t replace. Helping people grow their businesses, wealth and confidence is what keeps me personally invested.”

Outside work, Mark is a dedicated family man. He and his wife are proud parents of four adult children, three of whom now live in Australia.
