Mantra Traralgon freehold going concern for sale — ResortBrokers
ResortBrokers’ East Victoria agent Chris Boschetti has listed the freehold going concern of the 50-room Mantra Traralgon for $23 million.
“This is an unrivalled opportunity to acquire one of largest hotels in Traralgon, a major regional centre just two hours’ drive east of Melbourne,” Mr Boschetti told The Hotel Conversation.
“Mantra Traralgon is being offered to market for the first time since opening in 2019. At its back is the strength of Mantra, Australia’s largest hotel brand.”
“Occupancy is incredible. Mantra Traralgon has been consistently above 80% for the last three years. Last financial year, the hotel posted 84% occupancy, far outpacing the regional average.”
Traralgon is Gippsland’s largest town by population and one of the fastest growing centres in regional Victoria.
“Over the last decade, Traralgon has benefitted from major public and private sector investment for landmark new developments and improvements to existing infrastructure,” says Mr Boschetti.
New developments include the $42 million Gippsland Performing Arts Centre and $57 million Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre, while the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium underwent a major $19 million upgrade.
Adds Mr Boschetti, “Add to that Traralgon’s fixtures like the Traralgon Junior International tennis tournament, which has been a warmup for the Australian Open Junior Championships for over 30 years, and the Victorian Open lawn bowls championship, which is second only to the Australian Open in terms of importance. These entertainment, sports, arts and culture events provide compelling occupancy drivers for Mantra Traralgon.” END
