Meriton Expands Brisbane Footprint With Dual Management Rights — ResortBrokers

Meriton, Australia’s largest residential developer and operator of management rights, has acquired the management rights to two premium large-scale residential assets in Brisbane through ResortBrokers’ Director Alex Cook.

Cutters Landing, an 186-apartment complex in the inner-city suburb of New Farm, and Skyneedle Apartments, a 231-apartment complex across two towers in South Brisbane, both settled in late June.

The transactions further consolidate Meriton’s presence in Brisbane’s tightly held inner-city rental sector, adding scale across two high-demand residential areas.

“I’m delighted to have sold these two prime management rights assets to Meriton,” Mr Cook told The Hotel Conversation. “Both Cutters Landing and Skyneedle Apartments attracted strong interest, reflecting the continued demand for well-established, large-scale management rights in premium inner-Brisbane locations.”

Mr Cook added that the settlements highlight ongoing investor appetite for stable, income-generating residential businesses in core urban areas, particularly those supported by strong occupancy and long-term tenancy demand.

“Meriton is committed to generating long-term value for residents and investors in these premium assets. We’re actively working to secure more opportunities across Brisbane,” Jon Elliott of Meriton told The Hotel Conversation.
