Priscilla Pub On The Market With $3.25M Price Tag

The desert watering hole that has featured in films from Mad Max to Priscilla Queen of the Desert is back on the market with an asking price of $3.25m.

Publicans Peter and Patsy Price bought the Silverton Hotel for $500,000 about 13 years ago. Now they have listed it through ResortBrokers, which specialises in sales in the industry.

Broker Chris Kelly said the hotel was in a strong financial position even after years of Covid-19 lockdowns.

‘Silverton’s tourist season, running from March until November, attracts up to 150,000 visitors to the hotel,’ he said.

Located west of Broken Hill in NSW, the hotel has a beer garden, accommodation, a restaurant and function rooms. END
