StayCo ‘super rights’ Artique Resort Surfers Paradise for sale $7.1 m by ResortBrokers

ResortBrokers’ Central Gold Coast agent Nathan Bock and Managing Director Trudy Crooks have listed the management rights to the 4.5-star Artique Resort in Surfers Paradise for $7.1 million for client StayCo.

“This is a rare ‘super rights’ offering where the net profit exceeds $1 million,” Bock told The Hotel Conversation.

“Artique’s business is as strong as they come for a Gold Coast holiday resort. Occupancy during the last calendar year was over 89%, rising to as high as 98% during peak season. It’s a very popular resort.”

The 30-storey, 176-apartment resort lies on Enderley Avenue off renowned Garfield Terrace, just a short walk from Surfers Paradise’s beach. The offering includes a two-bedroom manager’s apartment.

“This offering would suit a sophisticated operator — whether a corporate group or owner-operator — looking to expand their portfolio with a top-tier property in one of the Gold Coast’s most sought-after short-term accommodation markets,” says Bock. “We’ve already had interested from a number of qualified operators.”

Artique is one of two StayCo 4.5-star resorts on the Gold Coast being offered to market by ResortBrokers. The agency has also listed the management rights to the 34-storey, 129-apartment Belle Maison, located on Surf Parade in Broadbeach, for $4.525 million.

“Each asset is being offered to market for separate sale, however, there are clear operational synergies to be enjoyed should a buyer acquire both businesses,” says Bock. END
