A sales and hospitality professional for more than 25 years, Damon’s management experience spans Australia, New Zealand and the UK, across all facets of the industry including accommodation, food and beverage, gaming and sales.
He has managed hotel portfolios, restaurants, bars, gaming rooms, sales teams and accommodation including company-owned, leasehold and strata, gaining expertise in business acquisitions and sales, new builds, major refurbishments, and rebranding.
Damon’s real estate sales expertise dates back to 2001 in inner Melbourne, where his specialty was private treaty sales. He was highly trained in negotiation, completing courses in the Jenman System and with one of Australia’s top trainers, Lee Woodward’s Real Estate Academy.
In hospitality, he originally trained at leading institute, William Angliss College, gaining an Associate Diploma of Business. Damon now gives back to the college through regular speaking engagements and sitting on the William Angliss Course Advisory Board. He has also held industry positions on the boards of the HMAA and Holmesglen Industry Advisory Board.
Damon has worked with national and global brands including Radisson, Park Plaza International, Bayview International, Quest Apartment Hotels and TFE Hotels, where he was awarded ‘Best in People Development’ and ‘Hotel Manager of the Year’ across more than 50 hotels.
With ResortBrokers, he now indulges his love of Western Victoria, gained during many years of family caravanning and camping in the region.
