Greg is our Motel and Caravan Park Broker of the Year covering the Gold Coast down to Forster on the mid-north NSW coast. Greg has established himself as one of the most respected and hard working professionals in the business.

Cold hard results tell the story: Since joining ResortBrokers in 2018, Greg has sold and settled on 30 motel and caravan park deals with a total value of $43.5 million with an additional $19 million under contract.

Since the coronavirus pandemic caused shutdowns and restrictions, he has agreed and settled on five deals with a total value of $9 million. And remember, when you work with Greg, you benefit from ResortBrokers’ national network of 30 brokers who all actively collaborate to find buyers.

Prior to joining ResortBrokers, Greg’s career record reads like the perfect training ground for his chosen path in accommodation property and business broking: small business owner, a business development consultant in the tourism and construction sectors, real estate agent, and sales and marketing executive.

After a varied career that has taken him around the globe, Greg is delighted to be based on home turf, covering the Gold Coast and northern NSW. He was born and raised in Mullumbimby and has lived on the Gold Coast for many years and has been travelling the north coast from Forster north to the border since he was a toddler.

Greg has been instrumental in bringing a new dynamic to our marketing material with informative videos as well as specific marketing videos for individual properties.

His approach has earned him a reputation that is second to none in his field. This has translated directly into sales: in Greg’s first year he sold and settled more deals than any previous broker in Resort Brokers 35 year history and was named Motel Broker of the Year in his second year.

Greg loves to travel and it started with the Royal Australian Navy during the 1980s, he travelled extensively on overseas deployments and was based in Sydney, Canberra, and Cairns.

Always a keen rugby player, Greg played for the Navy and Queensland Country, leaving in 1989 to travel and play more rugby. He played in South Africa while working in sales for the country’s largest independent software development company, based in Port Elizabeth and East London (SA).

Back home, Greg established and ran (until 2012) an inflatable boat business, promoting boat racing worldwide and setting up the first televised marine racing circuit in Australia screened on Wide World of Sport. He also started a manufacturing plant in Australia, handled all sales and marketing to over 35 countries, and conducted military sales and training.

After leaving that industry in 2012, Greg was a business development consultant to companies in the tourism and construction industries, before gaining his real estate license and working in the investment property field.

Now with ResortBrokers, Greg is delighted to apply skills and experience from so many relevant areas, particularly business operations and marketing. “Working in this industry, in this locality is a dream come true. It’s where I want to be!”

It’s also the perfect place to enjoy his personal passions: rugby (of course), time with family, surfing, camping, and bushwalking, meeting new people and sharing a few beers.
